The results are in!
In our first annual UCSD Triton Robotix competition, the 3-lb Robotix Rumble, there were a total of 7 entries involving 12 engineers.
Out of the double-elimination fights, three robots rose to the top, winning some cool looking trophies.
First Place: Pandamic by Daniel Yang
Second Place: Bloodseeker by Phillip Nguyen, Mike Berry, and Johnny Tan
Third Place: Downstream by Allen Jiang
Congratulations to all the other teams that completed a robot!

Hey everyone!
Its (miniature) Robot Fighting Time!
Come watch 6 to 7 three pound robots kill each other while enjoying free refreshments (too broke to afford free food).
This is Robotix’s first ever competition in our brand new arena, Ridout Arena.
Time: Friday, June 4 5:15pm
Location: Bot cage, next to the machine shop
The competition will be double elimination
standard rule set:
Trophy’s will be rewarded to the top 3 robots. In addition, The winning team get bragging rights.
Thats about it guys, lets end this successful year with some robotic destruction.
On June 1, 2010, UCSD Triton Robotix will host an open 3-lb combat event during MAE Day. Any self powered 3-lb robot is free to compete against each other!
Tickets are free, and there will be a bbq, so stop by from 11:30-1:30 for robots duking it out.
Robogames ended with a blast.
UCSD Triton Robotix managed to pull through and do well in the competition. With 21 entries from colleges and professionals from around the world, our robot Kraken fought its way to 5th place.

The airing of the CBS College Sports series BattleBots has once more been delayed. The show will now air on December 10, 2009.
